Wedding pictures create memories for next generations, and finding the right photographer for you is highly important.
What should you do when choosing a photographer? Create a list of potential photographers about whom you received recommendations. Browse the photographers' galleries or visit their websites to see their photography style. Good photographers will usually present a wide variety of pictures, including complete wedding albums. After choosing a few photographers, check their availability on your wedding date, their tariff and the bargain you can get.
After an additional screening, schedule meetings with photographers. Be prepared with a list of questions for the meetings. The more you ask, the more confident you feel about your choice.
Questions which are worth-while to ask are: what is your photography style, conservative or modern? Do you use an analogue or a digital camera? How much do the duplicates and the enlargements of pictures cost? When will we receive the pictures? Will you bring an assistant photographer to the wedding? Is there a backup photographer in case of emergency?.
Many photographers have deals which include a variety of services (video, stills, number of enlargements…). It is important to verify the contents of your deal in advance.
